Who it’s for
Students and families looking for courses and guidance, the wider community that reads the institute’s articles and answers, and the staff who publish them.
The problem
The institute publishes a large amount of material in Urdu with Arabic passages throughout. Staff needed a simple way to prepare, review and publish it, and readers needed it to display correctly on every device.
What was built
An Urdu-first website with typefaces chosen for mixed Urdu and Arabic reading, and a custom Urdu admin panel that lets staff publish without technical help. We also moved the hosting, set up the domain and email, and continue to develop the platform.
- Urdu-first, right-to-left interface with Arabic and English content
- Custom Urdu admin panel for articles, lessons, questions and answers, and quotations
- Sections for programmes, admissions guidance, lessons and lectures, books, prayer times, a photo gallery and donations
- Hosting on Vercel, with the domain and Microsoft 365 email configured
In development
Full Arabic and English interfaces, online payments, a learning platform and a library system.
